Located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto, Parussi is a contoured vineyard that sits 300 meters above sea level. With a perfect south-easterly / south-westerly exposure, the high quality of these grapes are guaranteed by the position right on the crest of the hill. Wines from this area tend to be very powerful and expressive and have some of the most complex soils in Piemonte. It is our first Barolo vineyard holding outside of our home of Serralunga d'Alba and a wine not produced in every vintage.
“The 2017 Barolo Parussi is a classic Castiglione Falletto Barolo. Sweet floral notes and bright, red berry fruit open first as the 2017 shows off its considerable charms. Medium in body and silky (for the year), with exceptional balance, the 2017 Parussi is stellar. This is an unbelievably classy Barolo.” - 95 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
