The Vanotu site is our flagship wine, produced from a vineyard located on the crossing of three Barbaresco municipalities in Treiso, Barbaresco, and Neive. It is produced using modern methods with controlled temperatures and an innovative mechanical plunger for the punching-down, which is controlled automatically for timing, intensity and duration of the work. The goal is to put into the bottle the maximum expression of the characteristics of Nebbiolo. Vanotu is aged for 20 to 22 months in barriques (80 percent new), then nine months in bottle before release. Our aim with each vintage is to create a wine that shows rich fruits and soft tannic complexity, and this single vineyard wine always combines powerful structure and perfumes.
