Since 2006, we have been meticulous in our vineyard management, shifting to organic viticulture and starting in 2010 farming with biodynamic methods. In a vintage like 2018 with a very rainy spring that brought very quick buds in early May, it was key for our team to be extremely detailed in the vineyard.
A very warm and dry summer allowed the vineyard to ripen with great evenness and balance, which will provide incredible acidity and structure to the wines. Harvest time brought some interesting new challenges as hail threatened and clouds circled the winery, but we avoided any issues allowing for a quick and very successful picking.
From the village we our most known, a bottling we take great pride in showcasing the balance of the vintage. Coming from twelve parcels across Puligny, each terroir provides an important contribution to acidity, complexity and elegance.
