A Riesling Spätlese has more richness and body than a Riesling Kabinett because the grapes are allowed to ripen for an extra week or more. The extra hang time on the vine allows for greater development of flavor and aroma. The Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese is beautifully balanced, showing rich, ripe concentration as well as elegant acidity. Hand-picked from ungrafted vines on average 60 years of age.

94 points, James Suckling: “Very elegant with lovely white fruit and a long, filigree and so delicate finish. Drink or hold.”
