The area where the Fossati vineyard lies was created 6 million years ago from sedimentation of the sea that once occupied the Po River plain. The terroir’s composition is high in sand that ensures the wines are characterized by explosive floral and red fruit notes.
Press Notes:
93 Points, Kerin O’Keefe, Wine Enthusiast: “Forest floor, dried rose petal, camphor, and grilled herb aromas shape the enticing nose. On the full-bodied palate, licorice and mint notes accent dried cherry, pomegranate, and orange zest while fine-grained tannins provide support. Bright acidity keeps it fresh. Drink 2023–2028.”
