Located in the "Les Languettes" climat on the south/southeast side of the Corton hill, this plot once belonged to the nuns of the Lieu-Dieu Abbey and was nicknamed “Vigne Dieu” by the old wine merchants and historians of Aloxe-Corton. The terroir of this hillside Grand Cru contributes finesse, elegance and purity to its wines, including incredible aromatics and gastronomic potential.

The vines are over 35 years in age, and the grapes hand-harvested and vinified in French oak (60% new). The wine is then aged for further complexity in 100% French oak (30% new) for 12-15 months before bottling and resting.

Press Notes:

96 points, James Suckling – “In spite of the ripe-orange and exotic-fruit character that pours from the glass, there’s nothing superficial about this wine. Thanks to its generosity and very attractive fruit, this makes a very friendly initial impression on the palate, then the intense minerality comes through, building to a serious crescendo at the very fresh finish. Drink or hold.”
